The Borough Kitchen Carving Board is designed to withstand a lifetime of daily use. Made from Richlite – a mix of recycled wood fibre and resin – it has been independently tested to confirm it does not shed microplastics. The smooth, non-porous surface is naturally hygienic; unlike plastic boards, it resists deep knife grooves that are difficult to clean inside. It is dishwasher-safe and easy to maintain. Since the material is heat-safe up to 167°C, you can place hot pans on the surface when needed, using it as a trivet. The board's natural fibre composition, thermoset stability, and long service life – as well as Richlite's dedication to scientific verification and transparency – ensure its environmental footprint is minimal. This carving board contains a juice groove along the border, making it easy to carve meat while minimising mess. Available in two sizes: regular (38cm) and large (53cm).
