Each board in our Borough Kitchen Chopping Board Set is designed to withstand a lifetime of daily use. Made from Richlite – a mix of recycled wood fibre and resin – it has been independently tested to confirm it does not shed microplastics. The smooth, non-porous surface is naturally hygienic; unlike plastic boards, it resists deep knife grooves that are difficult to clean inside. It is dishwasher-safe and easy to maintain. Since the material is heat-safe up to 167°C, you can place hot pans on the surface when needed, using it as a trivet. The board's natural fibre composition, thermoset stability, and long service life – as well as Richlite's dedication to scientific verification and transparency – ensure its environmental footprint is minimal. This set contains three boards: small (20cm), medium (30cm), and large (38cm).
