---DETAILS--- The French company Peugeot may be most commonly associated with cars, but they actually made spice mills first, far back in 1874. In the 146 years since, no other salt and pepper mills have stayed as sharp, resisted corrosion as well, and lasted as long, which is why nobody in the culinary industry would hesitate to call them ‘iconic’. The grinding mechanism of this salt mill is made from medical-grade zirconia, which stays sharp over a lifetime of use (and is backed by a warranty). Zirlion mills excel at producing a finer, more consistent grind. This patented mechanism grinds a wide variety of dry salts, including flaky salt, with utmost precision. In its finest grind, you can use less salt with no loss of flavour. The knob on the top of the mill can be adjusted to obtain your ideal grind: the tighter the knob, the finer the salt. A matching is sold separately. Made from sustainably sourced olive wood from European forests - no two are the same.

Note: These mills cannot be used with wet salt like fleur de sel or grey salt.
